Giants turn over more than half their roster for 2018 season

New York Giant fans are going to need a scorecard when they arrive at the team’s home opener next Sunday against the Jacksonville Jaguars. Their final 53-man roster consists of 30 players that were not on the team last year.

GM Dave Gettleman decided to make as clean a break as he possibly could from the team he took over from Jerry Reese last December. On Sunday, after all 32 teams submitted their final rosters to the league, Gettleman continued to tinker with his, claiming six more players off waivers and cutting former third-round pick Davis Webb and and 37 others this weekend.
