Giants hosting several free agents on Tuesday
- Updated: September 4, 2018

The Giants aren’t done tweaking their roster. Today is Tuesday – Player’s Day Off – but the rest of the organization never sleeps.
GM Dave Gettleman and his staff will be working out several free agents to see if they might be bale to find players who could help them on the roster or the practice squad.
FYI – this happens every Tuesday during a regular week. The search for players never ends.
The following players are working out for the #Giants today:
QB Matt McGloin
OT David Sharpe
WR Breshad Perriman
WR Quadree Henderson
WR JoJo Natson
DE Daeshon Hall
CB Michael Hunter— Scout Kelley (@ScoutKelley) September 4, 2018
McGloin, a former Penn State Nittany Lion, began his career in Oakland, where he started seven games over four seasons. He was signed by the Philadelphia Eagles last year but was cut before the season. He was signed by the Houston Texans afterward and subsequently released in November.
Hall was a third-round pick out of Texas A&M last year, selected by Dave Gettleman who was the Panthers’ general manager at the time. Natson is 5-foot-7 and 153 pounds. He’s spent time with the Jets, Colts and Rams since coming out of Utah State last year.
Former Raiders OT David Sharpe to work out for Giants on Tuesday, source said. Chance for fresh start. 2017 fourth-round pick lost 30-plus pounds this offseason. Giants already added two ex-Raiders (DL Mario Edwards Jr., CB Antonio Hamilton) on Sunday.

Another player reportedly visiting the Giants on Tuesday is wide receiver/return specialist Quadree Henderson, who was recently waived by the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Perriman, a former first-round selection of the Baltimore Ravens, visited the Jets on Monday.
Hunter was with the Giants last season and was released/injured during the season.
