In 2017, the Giants and Washington split their season series for the third year in a row, with each team winning at home. On Thanksgiving Night, Nov. 23, the Redskins scored 10 points in the final 3:31 and defeated the visitors, 20-10. In the season finale on Dec. 31, the Giants scored two touchdowns in the first 2:18 and held Washington scoreless in the second half to earn an 18-10 triumph. Orleans Darkwa rushed for a career-high 154 yards, including a 75-yard touchdown on the game’s second play. The Giants have faced the Redskins 170 times in the regular season since their first game in 1932, making this their most frequently-contested rivalry. Their next victory will be the 100th in the series. The Giants are 6-2 vs. Washington in MetLife and 11-9-1 in FedEx Field. The Giants have swept the season series 32 times, most recently in 2014.
